Campaign planes

Dion's choice of an older Air Inuit 737 is a bit puzzling considering his stance on the environment but let's not burst a blood vessel until we see how it is used compared to Harper and Layton.

On day one of the election, Harper flew his Air Canada Airbus 320 from Ottawa to Quebec City to Vancouver.  How green is that?

Not to be outdone, Layton flew his Air Canada Airbus 310 from Ottawa to Calgary, leaving a carbon footprint over the 2500 kilometers of space between the two cities.  Where does he jet next?

True Dion's plane is not as fuel friendly as the others, but I did not see anyone else going out their way to rent from the First Nations peoples.

By the way, Elizabeth May is traveling by train.
