I, too, could have won in Vancouver-Kingsway

I could also have won in Nepean Carleton, Ottawa-West Nepean, Cornwall, fourteen ridings in Quebec and Calgary South - but I choose not to run. So blaaattt to you!

According to the Vancouver Sun, "David Emerson said Thursday evening that he could have won Vancouver-Kingsway but ultimately decided not to seek re-election in order to spend more time with his Vancouver family."

Yea right.

The Con candidate in the 2006 election garnered about -23% of the vote, while Emerson got 50% as a Liberal. Then he crossed the floor to the Cons and was black balled by his constituents.

He could have won. Yea right.
